Representing the hope that comes with seasonal change, this sculpture is inspired by the rabbit's symbolism of prosperity and good fortune.

The textured strokes, which mimic a rabbit's fur, are months of craftsmanship. The rabbit holds a carrot carved from carnelian adorned with tsavorite leaves. For a touch of charisma, the carrot can be removed from the rabbit's paws. 

Other colourful accents, such as the fancy sapphire flowers and cabochon rubies resembling eyes, breathe life into the sculpture. The rabbit sits on a slice of agate, reinforcing the sense of ice melting in the wilderness as Spring approaches.
